At our first meeting in October 2019, Ifeoma was battling Cystic Nodular Acne with blackheads and whiteheads.
This is what her face looked like.
We opted for a lifestyle change as opposed to just a skincare regimen.
This lifestyle change cut out dairy products and reduced her consumption of processed foods. We also encouraged her to exercise and drink more water.
We included probiotics and omega 3 fish oil plus supplements to her diet.
The Probiotics helped restore good bacteria into her gut, providing a healthy environment to fight off infections.
P.s– Acne is linked to gut health so the healthier the gut, the less inflammation occurs. Less inflammation means less formation of acne causing bacteria.
Probiotics also helped to build collagen to achieve stronger skin structure and also add smoothness to the appearance of her skin.
The Omega 3 Fish Oil supplements helped to regulate oil production, boost hydration and prevent acne, by delaying the skin’s aging process to stave off wrinkles.
Finally, we tailored a plan to suit her skin type and skin concerns and in just three months, there were great improvements. This picture was taken in January, 2020.
Ifeoma was not given any birth control medication or antibiotics.
A plain and simple lifestyle change got us to where she is today.
Fast forward to April 24th, 2020 and this is what Ifeoma has to say about her journey with us.
